We already have an IT person or provider. Does this replace them?
We work alongside your team. Many clients keep their in-house IT person, who gets a full security, software and strategy team behind them. When a provider is already in place, your 90-day plan shows exactly where we take over.
Is there a smaller or cheaper plan?
No. Every client gets the full service at the same per-seat price, because security and strategy only work when every part is covered. UT-Ops fits companies with 15 or more seats, and works best from 35 to 100.
What is included in the governance retainer?
Your named vCISO, your Fractional CIO and a new automation built every quarter. They lead your security program, prepare your insurance and client questionnaires, build your roadmap, and meet with you every quarter.
What happens after the first 90 days?
Everything keeps running and stays protected, and a new automation or integration ships every quarter on the roadmap you approve with your CIO.
What is quoted separately?
Hardware, third-party licenses, builds larger than the quarterly allowance, full penetration tests, cloud detection and response for AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, and on-site project work.
What is the 90-Day Blueprint?
The paid first step, bought after the fit call. We review your systems, security, devices, vendors and licenses, and every finding goes into a dated 90-day plan with a fixed quote, presented to your leadership team. $2,500 standard; $4,000 for on-premises, hybrid or regulated companies. Delivery takes 7 to 13 business days from access, and if we miss the agreed date for reasons in our control, you get the full fee back. If you sign within 14 days of the readout, the fee counts toward your onboarding.
Can we add devices that nobody logs into?
Yes. Crew phones, shared tablets, kiosks and shared PCs are $20 per device per month for management, patching, lock and wipe, and helpdesk.
How long is the agreement?
12 months, then month to month until you cancel with 60 days' notice.
Do you work in Spanish?
Yes. Helpdesk, training and leadership meetings are available in English and Spanish.
Is our business worth more with this in place?
Buyers and lenders ask about security, systems and documentation during due diligence. A company with audited security, documented systems and working automation is easier to buy.
